Traveling in Ehime

The prefecture's name, "Ehime," was taken from the name of a goddess who appears in the mythology of the Kojiki, Japan's oldest surviving book, written 1,300 years ago. The prefecture is warm throughout the year, with little precipitation, typhoons, or snowfall, making it a mild climate that is perfect for cycling.
